Nicole Hams is the Secretary/Treasurer of FHC. Her involvement with FHC involves STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) outreach and recruitment/retention of students of color in higher education.
Nicole's interest and involvement in these issues arose from being involved in the Oregon State University Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS) and Society for the Advancement of Chicanx/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) chapters, where she was the VP of the latter for 2016-2018 school years.
Nicole holds a PhD and a M.S. in Biochemistry and Biophysics from Oregon State University as well as a B.S. in Biochemistry from University of Missouri-Columbia.
