Traditional Health Worker (THW)
THW are trained in any of the following areas. They may personally or through immediate life experience have engaged in challenging life circumstances. They bring these experiences forward under our passion and mission to support and connect the needs of our community.
Peer Support Specialists (PSS)
PSS offer engagement at the level of a peer who has been through difficult life situations. A Peer Wellness Support (PWS) may describe overcoming medical or health challenges, while a Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM) can share a story of family or self-overcoming Alcohol and Drug Addictions.

Mentorship & Advocacy
As a community provider FHC has provided a connective role with adults and youth experiencing life transitions. Working from within the prisons and in the community we believe growth comes from within the person.
Inclement Weather Hotel-Sheltering
As a new alternative for our vulnerable and high-risk population of house-less persons including families in Corvallis, Faith Hope and Charity on a limited basis is providing a Hotel-Sheltering program.
These rooms currently open during inclement (dangerous) weather circumstances and close when weather conditions subside.
FHC has joined with community partners to utilize space inside First Christian Church of Corvallis.

Combatting Food Insecurity through our Hot Meals Food Program
The tri-county region (Linn, Benton, Lincoln) is significantly higher in food deserts than the state or national percentages at 21.9%. By providing an extra hot meal 2-3 times a month during a time when no community meals are being provided in Corvallis (Saturday at 5 PM), we contribute to reducing food insecurity and aim to scale the program by building partnerships and expanding meal services. On the dates listed at 5:00 PM, our organization delivers 50-100 hot meals to unhoused and food-insecure populations at First Christian Church, Central Park, Avery Park, and the Skate Park. As the community gains more awareness of the program, we hope to partner with local grocery stores, farmers, restaurants, and food banks for ingredients and accept both food donations and funds for purchasing ingredients, to-go containers, plastic utensils, and other serving materials.
Dates: January 11, March 18, April 26, May 10, May 24, June 7, June 21, July 5. New dates will be updated after July 5, 2025.
Prison & Beyond
Project Health Opportunity Prosperity and Empowerment (HOPE) involves our staff entering Oregon’s youth prisons to bring light to the darkness. Faith Hope and Charity offers youth mentorship, advocacy, and outreach in the community.
We support youth currently incarcerated and individuals during reintegration to break existing barriers, and excel in personal ambitions.
